System of a Down – Toxicity (Lyrics)

Lyrics in Description Conversion software version seven.0 Looking at life through the eyes of a tired hub Eating seeds as a pastime activity The toxicity of our city, of our city Now, what do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder? Now somewhere between the sacred silence Sacred silence and sleep Somewhere, between the sacred silence and sleep Disorder, disorder, disorder More wood for the fires, loud neighbors Flashlight reveries caught in the headlights of a truck Eating seeds as a pastime activity The toxicity of our city, of our city Now, what do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder? Now somewhere between the sacred silence Sacred silence and sleep Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep Disorder, disorder, disorder Now, what do you own the world? How do you own disorder, disorder? Now somewhere between the sacred silence Sacred silence and sleep Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep Disorder, disorder, disorder When I became the sun I shone life into the man’s hearts When I became the sun I shone life into the man’s hearts

Yay, Science!

A short presentation on some of the things I’m doing in the lab =) en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org An excellent literature review written by Pacher and co-authors titled ‘Nitric Oxide and Peroxynitrite in Health and Disease’ is also available. No journal subscription is required to view. physrev.physiology.org While I have received some vote of confidence from viewers concerning their willingness to donate to my proposed cause, a major concern is transparency and how exactly the raised funds will be transferred to the recipient. No doubt finding a solution to this problem will increase support for this cause. I’ve recently communicated with a representative from Rotary International and I am beginning a three-way conversation between myself, them, and the campaigners in Africa. Ideally, donors will simply give donations to Rotary, and they in turn will hand it over to Dr. Uzoegwu and affiliates. I hope things will not become too complicated for myself. My next video will most probably be related to this issue in one manner or another. I started my research into nitric oxide and antioxidant enzymes some 16 months ago when I was a student working on my undergraduate thesis (which I have already completed). Throughout this time I have been perfecting the procedures used throughout these experiments, and the results show that I may have a publication in the making. As my supervisor is incredibly busy, and as I know the experiments better

Indigo Bunting – Rotary Park, Biddeford

On Sunday, July 6, I went to Rotary Park in Biddeford. There was a lot of activity. I saw various sparrows, robins, crows, ravens, sea gulls and doves as you’d expect, but also spotted 5 Indigo Buntings!

RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Award which is a course designed as a program for youth to turn you into a better leader and build your team building skills, organized by The Rotary International clubs. It was one of the best experiences ever and I will never forget it. I was sponsored by my club Rotary district Portobello UK. When we arrived, the girl’s camp was leaving where there was a funny moment where one of the camp boys was singled out as being cute and the girls swamped him like a pop star! The Rotaract accommodation included rooms with about four bunk beds which was fairly good although one night we had a loud crowd bust into our room and started hitting everyone with pillows. Usually, I’d find that funny but it was very late that evening. I made a good friend while there called Khuram, also sponsored by one of the International Rotary Clubs where I could have a decent conversation with and chat about each day’s activities while we anticipated what was coming up next. After dinner, we had fun things to do such as play some football outdoors or badminton in the sport’s hall. One of the unusual things we saw at the camp was old
